FAQs

Q. How do I activate my SIM card?

SIMs can only be activated with the network on working days (Mon to Fri, 9am-5pm, excluding bank holidays).

We require you to complete an activation form which will capture the details required for the activation.

Q. Can I extend my pre-paid SIM if I need it more than 30 days?

Keep an eye out for emails for us containing discount codes for extending with us.

 

Q. Is there an expiry date on my eSIM QR code for activation?

Any eSIM connection begins with a QR code for the set-up and activation of the number.

For the following carriers:

  • Vodafone: there is no expiry date attached to QR codes however it is always best to use within 24 hours.
  • O2: the QR codes will expire after 30 days (if not used) however it is always best to use within 24 hours

Once a QR code has been used it will then expire automatically - we can request a new QR code for a connection if it has expired.

 

Q. Where can I make calls using my O2 or Vodafone powered travel SIM?

Calls can be made within the same roaming zone (e.g. Turkey to Turkey) or back to the UK.  

Calls are not permitted between two roaming zones (e.g. Turkey and Barbados).  

Calls to premium rate numbers are not part of the package.
